The hotel is situated in a spot which was already famous way back in 1828, when as the Friendship Viewpoint it was a popular destination for visitors. To the original 3 buildings was added a series of terraces, a restaurant garden, tennis courts, creating an imposing complex which could clearly be seen from all around.
This world-famos spa situated in Marianske Lazne. The hotel is situated in a calm forest park above the town, with a beautiful view of the whole spa resort. The spa town lies in a wooded valley at an average height sea level of 630 m and is teeming with rich, natural sources of healing springs. Within the relatively small boundaries of the town there rise 40 mineral springs and over a hundred more in the vicinity.
