The hostel occupies a completely restored convent from the 16th century and comprises a total of 32 rooms. It is an example of the achievement of perfect harmony between the traditional and modern concepts of Portuguese architecture and a felicitous example of adapting the austerity of a convent to today's standards of comfort. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception, currency exchange facility, a safe and lift access. Further facilities within the hotel include a bar, a restaurant and a TV room. It is also possible to make use of the public Internet terminal, the room service, or the parking facilities.||
This hostel is located in the rural area of Alentejo in Arriolos, a town which is known the world over for its carpets. It is surrounded by sprawling gardens and represents the ideal starting point from which to explore the town of Evora some 20 km away, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
