Estremoz Castle is the result of the restoration of the magnificent palace built by King Dom Dinis for his wife, Queen Isabel. Top-quality building materials have been used to fit the building out with the finest dÚcor, which includes museum pieces. Wonderful views may be enjoyed out over Estremoz and the vast Alentejo plains from the private palace gardens that are surrounded by battlements.
