Built by the famous architect Eug×ne Jost in 1870, the hotel was completely renovated in the year 2003 and comprises 7 floors with a total of 140 rooms. There is one bar and a restaurant (brassiere style). During the summer months there is a restaurant and a bar on the panoramic terrace overlooking the lake and the mountains. Every weekend the hotel has live music on the terrace. This hotel is the most centrally located hotel in Montreux, just a few minutes from the steamboat landing stage and only a few minutes on foot from the Montreux Music and Convention centre and the shopping area.
This hotel is located directly on the shore of Lake Geneva with superb views out over the water and the fabulous Alps. Situated at the heart of Montreux, the hotel lies directly opposite the historic train station. The numerous shopping and entertainment venues of the resort are just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Links to the public transport are to be found just a stone's throw away.
