Van Gogh Hotel Amsterdam is a very budget hotel with an excellent location but which may not be suitable for the more discerning traveller as it is very basic.
Location
This hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, close by the Van Gogh and Rijks Museum, as well as the fashionable shopping street of PC Hoofsstraat. It is also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions that this city has to offer, including the Leidseplein with its Holland Casino, Bulldog and numerous eateries and bars.

The hotel features 15 spacious guestrooms, spread over four floors. The rooms have elegant décor and simple furnishings with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay at the Vincent Van Gogh Hotel. Room amenities include individually controlled air-conditioning and heating, colour television, in room safety deposit box and an en-suite bathroom with bath/shower and hairdryer.

This hotel is a good choice for those who prefer to be in an excellently located hotel even if the accommodation is very basic. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe for guests' valuables, a bar and a Tv room. Unfortunately the hotel does not have its own restaurant or bar, but offers numerous dining options within walking distance of the hotel, where guests can enjoy excellent cuisine and fine wines. The hotel does however ensure that its guests get a brilliant start to each day with a healthy buffet style breakfast, featuring a wide range of hot and cold dishes to choose from, transforming an ordinary morning into a feast.
